History

Garrett Mahaffey is the founder and owner of Artisan Fine Painting and General Contracting. He grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Broad Ripple High School. He moved to Bozeman, Montana in 1995 to study a wide variety of things (Snowboarding, music, and Spanish) at Montana State University. In 1998 he moved to Puerto Rico to study the Spanish language and culture at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.

My name is Garrett Mahaffey, founder of Artisan Fine Painting and General Contracting. Thanks to my dad, I have been involved in construction since I can remember. I began painting in 1995 to pay for college and continued to do it after earning a bachelor’s degree in the Spanish language from Montana State University in 2001. Upon graduating college I decided to return to Indianapolis and start a contracting business, since then I have completed many projects that I am very proud of and met a lot of great people in the process. I enjoy doing a job well and satisfying my customers. I hope this website is helpful for anyone interested in an interior or exterior paintjob. I will always do my best to provide great work at a fair price.
